Cottage cheese mousse for cake
Description
Prepare the cake according to your recipe or use ready-made cake layers. Also, prepare whipped cream and fruit jam for cake decoration. Once this is ready, proceed to the filling—cottage cheese mousse. 1. Soak the gelatin in a small amount of cold water, then squeeze it out and dissolve in hot juice. 2. Rinse the cranberries and let excess liquid drain. Then blend the berries into a puree using a blender. 3. Add sugar, cottage cheese, and gelatin to the fruit puree. Mix well. 4. Whip the cream and add it to the mousse. Stir thoroughly until smooth. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before using. Then use it as the cake filling. Place the finished cake in the refrigerator for several hours to allow the filling to set properly.
