Description

Delicious baked treat for the whole family. The cottage cheese crumble turns out more flavorful, yet less caloric than the classic version, as it contains no flour, and the cottage cheese combined with oats works perfectly. By the way, use crumbly cottage cheese for making this crumble—you can even use homemade. I choose sweet-sour apples. Fresh or dried strawberries can be used, it doesn't matter. The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.

    Wash the apples and cut them into slices. Soak the raisins beforehand so they become soft. Place the apples in a baking dish, sprinkle with raisins, and drizzle honey on top.

    Alternate layers of apples and raisins until the apples are used up. Also drizzle with honey. In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese and oats, then add bran, cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.

    The result is a lumpy, uneven mixture, which is how it should be.

    Add half of the strawberries to the cottage cheese mixture; you can reserve the remaining portion for decoration. I used dried strawberries, but fresh ones will work as well.

    Spread the cottage cheese mixture over the apples, without pressing down firmly. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25–35 minutes.
