Description

Aromatic pastries that melt in your mouth—that’s cottage cheese dough crescents. Be sure to make them with the whole family; children love wrapping the dough and shaping it into little rolls. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl and mash it with a fork. Melt the butter in the microwave and pour it into the bowl with the cottage cheese. Add 60 grams of granulated sugar, and reserve 20 grams for the coating. Add salt, crack in the chicken egg, and mix everything together right away.

Add top‑grade wheat flour and baking powder, add vanilla sugar. Mix everything thoroughly again.

After the specified time, remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into two parts. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out one portion of the dough into a round sheet. Cut the sheet into triangular segments.

    Step 6

Next, roll each segment into a small roll, starting from the wide end. The narrow triangle tip should end up on top. Repeat for every triangular segment.

Sprinkle the remaining sugar onto a plate and coat the formed croissant pieces in it.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the portions on it, spacing them evenly. Place the baking sheet in the oven for 15 minutes.

    Step 9

    Step 9

Then reduce the heat to 120 degrees and bake the rolls for another 10-15 minutes so they don't remain raw inside. Remove the baking sheet from the oven when the pastries are golden brown and fully baked.

    Step 10

Arrange the cottage cheese horns on a plate and serve them warm. They are especially good with a glass of warm milk.
