Cottage cheese cookies with sugar
Description
Homemade treats for tea. Cottage cheese cookies with sugar — a simple yet incredibly delicious dessert that both adults and children will enjoy. Thanks to the cottage cheese, the cookies turn out soft, tender, and slightly crumbly, while the sugary crust adds a pleasant, crunchy sweetness. These treats are perfect with tea or coffee, and they're made with readily available ingredients without any fuss.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients on the work surface right away. Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that it has time to soften. It is more convenient to sift the flour beforehand.
- 2
Step 2

Prepare the dough. Place the cottage cheese, sugar, salt, and soft butter cut into pieces into the bowl of a stationary blender.
- 3
Step 3

Run the blender for 1 minute.
- 4
Step 4

Transfer the contents of the blender jar to a large bowl and add the flour and baking soda.
- 5
Step 5

Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
- 6
Step 6

Lightly flour the work surface and roll the cottage cheese dough with a rolling pin into a sheet about 3 mm thick. Use a pastry cutter to press out circles from the dough surface.
- 7
Step 7

Now place 4 circles, stacking them on top of each other as shown in the photo.
- 8
Step 8

Roll into a roll.
- 9
Step 9

Cut this roll in half with a knife to make two equal parts, so that you get two little roses. Do the same with all the circles and prepare roses from all the dough.
- 10
Step 10

Place all the rose-shaped blanks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 11
Step 11

I brushed each rose with milk using a silicone brush and sprinkled it with brown sugar; you can use regular white sugar instead. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

Let the finished cookies cool slightly and serve.
- 13
Step 13

The pastry is ready. Serve with tea.
