Cottage Cheese and Apple Pie
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. Cottage cheese and apple pie recipe: 1. Wash the apples, peel them, and remove the cores with a sharp knife. Slice the apples into fairly thin pieces and sprinkle lightly with lemon juice so the apples don’t darken. 2. Beat the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy. I used brown sugar, so the mixture has a characteristic color, but you can use regular sugar—it won’t be worse. Push the cottage cheese through a sieve and add it to the butter mixture. Beat everything together well with a mixer. 3. Add the eggs to the mixture. Beat again until smooth. 4. Cut the vanilla pod crosswise with a sharp knife. Discard the seeds and mix everything else with our batter. 5. In a separate small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Sift our dry mixture into the wet one. Mix the batter thoroughly with an ordinary fork. 6. Mix the nuts with flour. The amounts of nuts and raisins are to taste, whichever you prefer. Toss the nuts and raisins with flour and add them to the batter. 7. Lightly dust the apples with flour as well and add them to the batter. Mix—you can even use your hands. 8. Grease the baking pan with butter and dust with flour. Spread the batter into the baking pan. I also sprinkled sesame seeds on top—but that’s optional. Bake for 40–50 minutes at 200 degrees. Happy baking and enjoy your tea! :) Serve cooled or slightly warm.
