Chocolate cottage cheese cookies
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. If you have both white and dark chocolate, you can vary the filling. Using different types of chocolate will make the decoration more attractive. These cookies are especially delicious while still slightly warm, when the filling hasn't had time to harden completely. Serve with tea or coffee.

Step 1

Leave the butter at room temperature for at least 30 minutes so that it becomes soft. Meanwhile, sieve the cottage cheese or mash it well with a fork, then add eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, flour, and baking soda. Then add the butter and knead thoroughly. The result should be a fairly thick dough.

Step 2

Form small balls from the dough. Then flatten them into pancakes of the same size. Break the chocolate bar into pieces. Place a square of chocolate into each piece of dough.

Step 3

Then, shape the dough into neat balls. Make sure the chocolate is completely enclosed within the dough to prevent it from leaking onto the baking sheet during baking.

Step 4

Grease a baking sheet with butter. Carefully place the formed balls onto it. Bake the cookies at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. Once the dough has hardened, you can remove the cookies from the oven. Let them cool, then decorate with melted chocolate. Here you can let your imagination run free.
