
Cottage cheese casserole with pumpkin and poppy seeds

Perfectly complements tea and coffee. I want to share an idea with you: serve it cooled or slightly warm.

1. Mix the ready-made pumpkin purée with eggs, orange zest, and a tablespoon of starch. Add sugar to taste and mix thoroughly. Set aside about 100 grams of the purée.

2. Separately beat the eggs with sugar, cottage cheese, and prepared poppy seeds. Add starch and mix well.

3. Grease a heatproof dish with oil and dust with flour or semolina (or line with parchment paper). Place the pumpkin and the cottage cheese mixture by spoonfuls, alternating.

4. This is the beautiful result you'll get. You can additionally swirl a wooden skewer from the bottom to create attractive patterns. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45-50 minutes.

5. Beat the previously set aside pumpkin purée with sour cream. Add a little more sugar if desired.

6. Pour the filling on top and return the dish to the oven for another 10 minutes.
