Cottage cheese casserole with shortcrust pastry
Description
Homemade pastry for tea. Streusel originally means sweet flour-butter crumbs. A simplified version of a cottage cheese casserole with shortcrust pastry is a pie topped with pastry crumbs. After baking, the topping remains crumbly and sandy, but not raw. The result is a very original pastry. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Place the cottage cheese in a large bowl.
- 2
Step 2

Add sugar and two eggs. Mix the ingredients together with a fork into a uniform mixture. When combined (sugar and cottage cheese), the cottage cheese will release whey and the mixture will quickly become liquid. This is exactly what we need.
- 3
Step 3

Add semolina to the mixture. Stir again.
- 4
Step 4

Place the mixture into a baking dish. I use a silicone mold, so I don't grease it. If you have any other type, generously grease the sides to prevent the casserole from sticking.
- 5
Step 5

Put 100 g of flour into a bowl. Add 70 g of butter and 2-3 tablespoons of sugar. Mix the flour, sugar, and butter together with your hands.
- 6
Step 6

We'll get a crumb like this.
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle the raw casserole evenly with the prepared crumb mixture. Do not press down or pour anything over it. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 8
Step 8

Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes.

Step 9

Enjoy your tea time and delicious culinary masterpieces.
