Description
If guests are at the door and you have cottage cheese but don't know what to serve with tea, here's an idea: serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Soak the poppy seeds for 20 minutes. Now we need to beat the eggs with sugar and salt. You can add vanilla to taste.

Step 2

2. Then add the cottage cheese, poppy seeds, and flour. Knead the dough.

Step 3

3. Pour the resulting mixture into the prepared pan, place small pieces of butter on top, and put the pan in the oven for 25 minutes at 170 degrees.

Step 4

4. When the casserole is ready, let it rest, then remove it warm from the pan. I always line the pan with parchment paper, so it's easy for me to take it out (I grab the edges of the paper and lift it onto a cutting board).

Step 5

5. Slice and serve. This cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds can be topped with condensed milk, jam, or sour cream.
