Cottage Cheese Casserole with Corn Grits

Description

The baked goods are easy and quick to make. Choose cottage cheese and sour cream with the highest fat content available to you. To enhance the flavor, add a pinch of vanillin on the tip of a knife and, if desired, raisins or dried apricots. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

    It is very convenient to prepare all the ingredients at once.

    In a large bowl, place all the cottage cheese, add sour cream, sugar, and salt, and beat in the eggs.

    Using an immersion blender, blend all the ingredients until smooth.

    Rinse the corn grits in cold water and add them to the bowl with the cottage cheese mixture. Mix well.

    Leave the bowl with the cottage cheese–corn mixture on the table for about 30 minutes so the corn grits can swell.

    Then spread the cottage cheese–corn mixture into a silicone mold (or any other mold that works for you) and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 35–40 minutes.
