Cottage cheese casserole with fruits

60 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The baking is simple and quick. It all depends on your goal and imagination: you can add sugar, dried fruits, spices, berries, or fresh fruits to the cottage cheese casserole. But you can also make a savory version, for example with herbs, pepper, and garlic. As for fruits, any fruits work well with cottage cheese casserole except citrus. Peaches, apples, pears, apricots, any berries—they can be mixed into the cheese mixture, or even better, layered. One main rule: juicy fruits and berries should be pre-blanched in oil (fruits can also be grilled) to remove excess moisture. If you skip this step, instead of a casserole you'll end up with baked cottage cheese soup. First, carefully review the recipe for fruit cottage cheese casserole, and only then confidently start cooking. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
