Cottage cheese casserole without semolina, baked in the oven
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Semolina is often used in cottage cheese casserole recipes to bind the ingredients. Instead of semolina, you can use wheat, corn, oat, or rye flour, potato or corn starch (about 75-100 g per 500 g of cottage cheese), banana or pumpkin puree, breadcrumbs, cooked rice, or crushed cookies for the same purpose. However, if the cottage cheese is fatty and not watery, no additional ingredients besides eggs and sugar are required. Serve the casserole without semolina with any jam, preserves, condensed milk, or sour cream, along with fresh fruits, berries, honey, and various fillings. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.
