Drizzle with olive oil (aromatic sunflower oil can also be used in this cottage cheese with tomatoes and herbs recipe) and lightly salt. 5. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Add it to the tomatoes. 6. Wash the herbs, dry them, and chop finely. Add half to the salad bowl. Mix everything gently and let stand for 10 minutes. 7. Push the cottage cheese through a sieve. Salt lightly and pepper if desired. 8. Grate the zest of half a lemon and add it to the cottage cheese. Add a little lemon juice if desired. 9. Spread the cottage cheese on a slice of bread lightly dried in the oven. 10. Top with the tomatoes that have already released their juice. Add a pinch of pepper and garnish with the remaining herbs.
