
Squid body in the oven
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. It's a very simple and satisfying recipe that even a beginner cook can handle, especially considering that squid are rarely cooked in our kitchens. With this recipe, there's no need to worry about preparing a main course and side dish separately — everything is already combined. Serve hot, although the squid are also very tasty when eaten cold. The finished dish is ready to be served.

Wash and peel the vegetables, and pour hot water over the squid until they turn pink.

Cut the potatoes into julienne strips and fry in half of the butter until cooked.

Place the cooked potatoes in a baking dish.

Grate the carrot and sauté it in the remaining half of the butter.

Slice the onion into half-rings and add it to the carrots. Cook until the onion becomes translucent.

Cut the squid into strips and place them on the prepared potatoes. Season with salt.
