Braised pork ribs
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Braising as a cooking method retains the meat's juiciness, flavor, and aroma, without making it overly fatty or dry, as can happen with frying. You can serve it with vegetables, vegetable salads, and any side dish—your guests will be delighted. Pork ribs are best suited for this recipe, but if someone doesn't eat pork and you need to replace them with another type of meat, the dish will still turn out just as good. The dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
First, we need to prepare the ribs for roasting. We should wash the ribs and dry them.
- 2
Step 2
Next, heat a pan with oil and lightly sear the ribs on each side until golden brown. Separately, sauté the onion (also lightly until golden brown).
- 3
Step 3
Take a brazier, place the meat in it, season with bay leaf, and add the previously browned onion. Pour in hot water until it just barely covers the meat.
- 4
Step 4
Let it simmer for a couple of hours over low heat. Done! The ribs should turn out juicy, tender, and incredibly appetizing. They can be served as a side dish with side dishes or with a vegetable plate.
