Stewed meatballs in a multicooker
Description
This recipe won't take much time. If you're tired of fried cutlets, you should definitely try stewed ones. The brand or model of the multicooker doesn't matter. This dish will look great not only on a regular dinner table, but also on a festive one. For preparing stewed cutlets in a multicooker, you can use any kind of minced meat: pork, beef, or even turkey mince works perfectly well. I used a mixture of pork and beef, roughly in equal parts (you can use more beef if you prefer less fatty cutlets). 1. Wash and peel the onion, then dice it finely. Mince the garlic as well. 2. Soak the bread in milk, then squeeze out the excess liquid. Pass the meat through a mincer, adding the soaked bread, onion, and garlic. 3. Add an egg and seasonings to the mince mixture, then mix thoroughly (you can even beat it a bit to help the cutlets hold their shape). 4. Shape the cutlets. Sear them on one side in the multicooker bowl with a bit of oil, using the "Baking" mode. Although, searing is optional. 5. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: mix ketchup and sour cream in a multicooker measuring cup and stir well. 6. Pour the sauce over the cutlets and cook for one hour in the "Stewing" mode. Ready! Serve the stewed cutlets with mashed potatoes or spaghetti, while hot.
