Stewed squids
Description
Chop the onion and squid, then fry in butter until fully cooked—first the onion, then add the squid and fry for exactly one minute, followed by two minutes with sour cream. Ready.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Simply rinse the piece of squid under running water and let it drain. If the squid was frozen, thaw it at room temperature. Peel the onion and rinse it.
- 2
Step 2

Slice two onions into half-rings, then gently press them with your hands to separate the rings.
- 3
Step 3

Melt the butter in a frying pan and sauté the onion until cooked through. Do not over-brown the onion, or it will become bitter.
- 4
Step 4

Slice the piece of squid thinly, keep in mind that it should not be cooked for long, otherwise it will become tough.
- 5
Step 5

Add it to the cooked onion, sauté for a minute with salt and ground black pepper.
- 6
Step 6

Add sour cream. The sour cream should not be too high in fat. Simmer for no more than two minutes.
- 7
Step 7

The stewed squid are ready.
