Beef short ribs stewed in a multicooker
Description
I'd like to point out that beef short ribs stewed in a multicooker can be prepared either with vegetables or without them, as you prefer. You can also add potatoes during cooking, for example, which will make it a complete dish that doesn't require a side. As for the marinade, there's plenty of room for creativity here as well. Use a variety of spices, hot or spicy sauce, etc. This is an incredibly simple option.

Step 1

1. First, wash and dry the ribs. Sprinkle them with spices on all sides and add soy sauce as a marinade. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour. You can also leave them overnight so the ribs absorb the marinade thoroughly. If you use hot sauce instead of soy sauce, add salt to taste.

Step 2

2. Next, place the ribs at the bottom of the bowl and turn on the "Frying" mode.

Step 3

3. Pour in a little olive oil (you can also use another vegetable oil to taste) and sear the ribs on both sides until a crust forms.

Step 4

4. Pour in hot water. The amount of water depends on the size of the pot and the ribs. There should be enough water to cover the ribs. If desired, you can add a few more spices, a pinch of salt, and a bay leaf, for example.

Step 5

5. Next, turn on the "Meat" or "Stewing" mode for approximately 25–30 minutes (the time depends on the power and model of your appliance. In this case, it's a pressure cooker, so this duration is sufficient). After the program finishes, add the vegetables and run the program again for 5–10 minutes (depending on the specific vegetables you are using).

Step 6

6. That's the secret to making braised beef ribs in a multicooker. After the program finishes, leave the dish under the lid for another 5-7 minutes, then it's ready to serve.
