
Stew in the Oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can use any meat to make stewed meat; most often it's pork or beef. A more budget-friendly option is chicken. Stewed meat can be stored for a very long time and used as needed for soups, side dishes, and salads. This method of preparing meat is popular in many countries. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Wash the meat and trim off all the fat; we won't need it. Cut the meat into small pieces.

Add salt, ground black pepper, coarsely crushed bay leaf, and garlic cloves to the bowl with the meat.

Place the meat in an ovenproof dish and put it in an oven preheated to 120 degrees for 4 hours.

Sterilize the jars with lids, place the meat in the jars and pack it down firmly, pour in all the fat that formed during stewing.

Seal the jars and turn them upside down, leave them to cool for several hours, then store in the refrigerator or in the cellar.
