
Braised pumpkin in sour cream
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Instead of the usual pumpkin porridge, you can make a delicious side dish. You can use sweet nutmeg pumpkin or regular pumpkin. Pumpkin goes perfectly with meat. If you'd like to serve it as a main dish, you can stew it with mushrooms, chicken, or turkey meat. Serve hot.

1. Peel the pumpkin and cut it into small cubes. Melt the butter in a skillet and add the pumpkin. Sauté for a few minutes.

2. Meanwhile, pour the sour cream into a bowl, add minced garlic, salt, ground pepper, and chopped herbs.

3. Pour in the sour cream and simmer the pumpkin for about 15 minutes after boiling, reducing the heat to the minimum and covering the pan with a lid.
