Braised sauerkraut with potatoes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I'll tell you a very simple recipe. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

Wash the chicken, cut the thighs into 2 parts at the joints, and lightly salt them. Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings. Fry the onion and chicken in a well-heated oiled skillet until both ingredients turn golden brown.

Step 2

Meanwhile, let's prepare the potatoes. Wash and peel them. Cut into fairly large pieces. Place them in the container you'll use for simmering (you can use a sauté pan or a regular pot). Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

On top, place the onion and chicken. Cover everything with sauerkraut. Pour in the broth and cover the container with a lid. Cook over high heat first, then once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for half an hour (do not stir!).

Step 4

After half an hour, the contents of the pot should be stirred. Then continue cooking the stew for another ten minutes.
