Step 1

Preparing cabbage in a multicooker-pressure cooker is not difficult, but you will need to do a few things yourself. Chop the cabbage with a knife or on a special grater, grate the carrots. Slice the onion into strips and place it in the multicooker. Sauté the onion in vegetable oil until golden in the "Frying" mode.

Step 2

Add carrots and cabbage to the onion. If you want the cabbage to be as soft as possible, slice it into very thin strips. Keep in mind that they will cook faster. Watch carefully so that your cabbage doesn't turn into a mushy "porridge."

Step 3

Now add tomato paste to the cabbage. If necessary, pour in a little water. Season with pepper, salt, and add spices to your taste. Set the multicooker-pressure cooker to the "Stewing" mode and cook the cabbage for twenty minutes.

Step 4

Cabbage can be served both hot and cold. Before placing the dish on the table, you can garnish it with fresh herbs. Stewed cabbage goes well with meat dishes and fresh white bread.
