Description

Cooking cabbage with ribs is very simple, and even easier with a multicooker! You just need to prepare all the ingredients and put them into the multicooker, remembering to stir occasionally. The result will be delicious!

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Cut the pork ribs into portion-sized pieces. Simply cut between the bones.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

    Slice the onion into half-rings.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, add a garlic clove cut in half (or several cloves), turn on the "Frying" mode for 30 minutes, and heat for about a minute to let the garlic infuse the oil with its aroma. Then remove the garlic, as it has done its job.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Place the ribs in the heated oil and fry them until the meat turns white and slightly golden on all sides.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Then add the onion to the meat, mix and fry for 6-8 minutes.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Finely chop the cabbage. You can use a shredding grater.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Put the cabbage into the multicooker, turn on the "Stewing" mode for 30 minutes. Close the lid and stew the cabbage for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the cabbage from burning. In the multicooker, it will brown nicely, becoming very soft and tender.

    Step 9

    Step 9

Pour in tomato juice (you can use tomato paste diluted in water or broth), add salt, pepper, and paprika. My juice is quite sour, so I add 1 tablespoon of sugar (without a heap), but this is a matter of taste. Mix the cabbage and cook until the liquid has evaporated and the program finishes.
