Turrón

Description

Turrón is traditionally made with almonds. However, if desired, you can add raisins, dried fruits, or other nuts to the mixture. To make it easier to remove the turrón from the mold, you can use a silicone mold or a regular baking pan. The turrón sets relatively quickly, depending on its thickness.

Instructions

    Step 1

First, sauté the almonds in a pan without oil until lightly golden.

Add the nuts to the mixture and stir. Line a baking pan with rice paper, lightly grease it with vegetable oil, as the mixture is very sticky—this will help you remove it more easily later.
