
Turkish shawarma

First, prepare the marinade for the chicken. Mix natural yogurt with minced garlic, salt, cinnamon, lemon juice, cloves, and oregano in a bowl. Stir well.

Place the washed and dried chicken breast into a sealed bag, pour in the marinade, and close the bag. Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably for 1 day.

After that, grill the chicken breasts on both sides until cooked through. If you don't have a grill, fry them in a pan.

Slice the cooked chicken.

Make the sauce by combining Greek yogurt with salt, dill, and minced garlic. Mix well.

Slice the washed tomatoes and cucumber into rounds.

Assemble the shawarma: place torn washed lettuce on the pita, then add vegetables and pieces of chicken, and top with sauce.

Roll the shawarma into a tube and enjoy.
