Waffle maker rolls

Description

Homemade rolls are just as good as store-bought ones, if not better, because they're healthier—you'd never use low-quality ingredients when cooking for yourself. Roll or shape the cones immediately after making the waffle batter, while it's still soft, as it hardens very quickly. Fill these rolls with classic meringue cream, whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar, or condensed milk, for example, mixed with chopped nuts. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Break the chicken eggs into a bowl. Melt the butter and pour it into the eggs, add a pinch of salt, milk, sugar, and mix well.

    Add the flour and starch, and knead the dough. It will turn out liquid, like sour cream.

    Preheat an iron waffle maker and pour a tablespoon of batter into the center. Close the lid and cook for about 1 minute.

    Transfer the wafer to a cutting board or flat plate, immediately roll it into a tube, set aside, and proceed with the remaining batter.
