Description

This recipe won’t take much time. I’ve made similar cream-filled pastry tubes many times, and every time they disappear to great acclaim. Naturally, if you’ll allow me to put it that way, the main target audience for these tubes is children. You put a huge vase of them on the table—and before you know it, everyone’s helped themselves. And grown-ups—well, aunts and uncles—happily munch these tubes with tea and coffee too. So the recipe is definitely useful and worthwhile. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 30 strips with a pizza cutter (as in the photo).
