Instructions

Step 1

1. First, prepare the chocolate glaze. Chop the chocolate, place it in a medium-sized bowl and set aside. Pour the heavy cream into a small saucepan, place over low heat. Heat until almost boiling, then pour the hot cream over the chocolate. Let it sit for one minute to soften the chocolate.

Step 2

2. Using a whisk, mix the chocolate and cream until smooth. Let it cool. Once the chocolate has cooled to room temperature, place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Step 3

3. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Take out the chocolate mixture. Grease your hands with cocoa powder to prevent the chocolate from sticking. Use a spoon to shape 24 small balls. From the remaining chocolate mixture, form 24 smaller balls—these will be the ladybug heads. Melt the chocolate glaze and use it to glue together the two differently sized balls.

Step 4

4. Melt the red glaze. Using a fork or special tools, coat the chocolate balls with the glaze. The balls should be completely covered with glaze.
- 5
Step 5

5. Using a paper cone, draw a line along the ladybug's body with chocolate glaze (wings).

Step 6

6. Dip the heads of all the ladybugs into the chocolate glaze. Using a paper cone and white chocolate glaze, draw eyes, a mouth, and hearts on the body.
