Lavash Triangles with Cottage Cheese
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. Golden triangles with cottage cheese inside—an appetizing dish that’s so easy to make for breakfast. You can teach children or your husband how to make it so that on weekends they treat you to a delicious breakfast, serving the dish warm. By the way, cottage cheese can easily be replaced with any soft cheese: mozzarella, suluguni, or feta, if you prefer a salty version. Can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Mash cottage cheese of any fat content in a bowl or salad bowl with salt and granulated sugar. If desired, you can add a little raisins or vanilla sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the lavash sheets with scissors into strips at least 10–12 cm wide. Place 1 tbsp of the cottage cheese filling along the edge of each strip and begin folding the edges of the strips into triangles so that the filling is wrapped in the lavash.
- 4
Step 4

Thus, shape the remaining triangles until the filling runs out.
- 5
Step 5

In a deep plate or bowl, beat the chicken egg and dip the triangles into it on all sides.
- 6
Step 6

Heat a skillet with vegetable oil thoroughly. Place the egg-coated triangles in the oil and reduce the heat to the lowest setting. Fry on one side for about 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
- 7
Step 7

Turn over to the other side and fry for the same amount of time.
- 8
Step 8

Serve hot with a cup of fragrant lemon tea.
- 9
Step 9

When fried, the cottage cheese will melt slightly and become stretchy. Kids love this!
