
Cod with potatoes in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Baked cod with potatoes is very easy to prepare. All the ingredients are familiar and readily available. The cod and potatoes come out tender and juicy. You can sprinkle the cod and potatoes with grated cheese before baking for a crispier, more appetizing crust. You can also add tomatoes and bell peppers to this dish. Experiment and serve hot.

Rinse the cod fillet and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut into portion-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste. You can add dried fish seasoning.

Peel the onion and carrot. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds using a sharp knife. The thinner, the better.

Layer the potatoes on a baking sheet, then place the cod fillet on top. Add fried carrots and onions on top. Generously drizzle everything with mayonnaise. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for half an hour.
