Cod with croutons

The recipe won't take much time. Cod with croutons is a simple festive fish dish perfect for Easter. Baked cod with croutons goes well with boiled potatoes and fresh vegetables. Preparation: Heat vegetable oil or margarine in a large frying pan. Cut wheat bread into cubes. Place the bread cubes into the pan with oil and fry until golden. Grease a deep frying pan with oil and spread a little mayonnaise on the bottom. Layer the fried croutons, then boiled cod fillet, and chopped onion. Cover with the remaining mayonnaise and bake in a preheated oven until done. Serve hot.
