Description
Fish prepared according to this recipe turns out very tasty. If you let the dish marinate for several hours, it will be even more delicious. You can eat the fish with marinade either hot or cold. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

1. First, prepare the marinade for the fish. Wash and peel the vegetables. Cut the onion and carrot into thin strips or grate them on a coarse grater. Remove the core from the bell pepper and finely chop. If you are using canned tomatoes, peel them and chop finely. If you prefer to use tomato paste, you will need 1 tablespoon. Sauté the onion and carrot in vegetable oil. Then add the pepper and tomato paste to the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

2. Place a portion of the marinade on the bottom of the baking dish. Put the fillet pieces on top of the marinade. Sprinkle the fish with salt and place in the oven. Bake the fish for about 20 minutes.

3. Remove the cooked fish from the oven. Gently break it apart with a knife or spatula so the fish can absorb the marinade's flavor. Pour the remaining marinade over the fish and set aside to let the fish marinate. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
