Traditional Spanish paella originated from Valencian paella. Its flavor is more exotic, and its preparation takes more time, but it looks stunning and has an absolutely delicious taste. A true delight for your taste buds.

Step 1

1. Pour olive oil into a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Add half of the diced chicken meat to the pan and cook until the meat is lightly browned on all sides. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and brown the remaining chicken in the same way. Remove all chicken pieces from the pan, but leave the olive oil in the skillet. Lightly fry the bacon in the skillet, then finely chop it. Leave the olive oil in the skillet.

2. Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the core and seeds, and chop the pepper into small pieces. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add bacon, onion, and pepper, and cook for 8 minutes until the ingredients soften.

3. Peel and crush the garlic. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Add salt, pepper, garlic, tomatoes, cayenne pepper, paprika, saffron, chicken pieces, and chicken broth to a skillet. Heat the ingredients until they begin to boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 12 minutes.

4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and pour the rice into the center of the skillet. Mix well and simmer over low heat for 12 minutes.

5. Cut the beans. Add them, chicken pieces, peas, and tiger shrimp to the paella. Cook for another 20 minutes. Stir the paella every 5 minutes to ensure the tiger shrimp cook evenly. Add more liquid if needed. Before serving, taste the rice to make sure it is fully cooked. Add more salt and pepper if necessary.

6. Garnish the paella with lemon slices and oysters. Serve on preheated plates.
