Toasts in the Air Fryer
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. I suggest making wonderfully aromatic garlic toasts with cheese and herbs to go with tea or a cup of coffee. Thanks to the air fryer, the toasts turn out crispy and golden, and they're incredibly easy to make. An ideal option for a quick, hearty breakfast or a nutritious snack on the go. Toasts with garlic butter, cheese, and herbs—even the name sounds appetizing! Be sure to try this delicious recipe. They can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients from the list. Use any bread you like; today I’m using toast bread. Any cheese that melts well will work. For herbs, I’m using parsley and dill today.
- 2
Step 2

If your air fryer basket can fit two slices of toast bread at the same time, that's ideal. I cut the bread in half so the pieces wouldn't touch each other.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the cheese on a fine grater and transfer to a deep bowl.
- 4
Step 4

Add any fresh aromatic herbs. Rinse the herbs first, pat them dry, and chop them with a knife.
- 5
Step 5

Squeeze a couple of cloves of garlic and add soft butter. The butter should be left at room temperature for a while beforehand. If your cheese is not salty enough, you can additionally add a small pinch of salt.
- 6
Step 6

Mash everything with a fork until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- 7
Step 7

Spread the bread with the prepared filling.
- 8
Step 8

Place on the rack in the air fryer basket. I line it with parchment paper first.
- 9
Step 9

Set the timer for 3 minutes and cook at 180 degrees. The cheese should melt and the bread should become crispy. If that's not enough time, you can add another 1–2 minutes.

Step 10

The toasts in the air fryer are ready. I recommend serving them right away.
