Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for making tuna and avocado toasts. You can use any bread: sandwich bread, artisan bread, baguette—whatever you prefer. Use ripe avocado. The flesh should be moderately soft and springy.
- 2
Step 2

Open the can of tuna and drain the fillets in a colander to remove excess moisture. You can use ready-made chopped fillet or mash the tuna pieces with a fork.
- 3
Step 3

Chop the green parts of the green onions.
- 4
Step 4

In a bowl, combine the tuna fillet, soy sauce, mayonnaise, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Add the chopped green onion, ground black pepper, and mix.
- 5
Step 5

Cut the bread into 1.5-2 cm thick slices.
- 6
Step 6

Toast the bread until golden brown on both sides in a dry skillet.
- 7
Step 7

Spread a generous portion of tuna salad mix on the bread. Fan ripe avocado slices on top. If desired, you can also sprinkle the toast with sesame seeds and a pinch of ground black pepper.

Step 8

When serving, on a plate with toast, arrange lemon wedges sprinkled with Chinese five-spice seasoning: cinnamon, fennel, cloves, pepper, and anise.
