
Tortilla with Shrimp
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. A wonderful Mexican dish — shrimp tortillas can be ordered in almost any restaurant or made at home. It cooks quickly and is perfect for those who follow a healthy diet. Along with tomatoes, you can also add avocado, an omelet made from chicken eggs, green onions, etc. to the filling.

Prepare the specified ingredients.

If you bought the shrimp frozen, thaw them in advance. Keep in mind that they are sold already cooked, so heat a skillet, add the shrimp, and sauté for about 2–3 minutes until the liquid cooks off.

Spread each tortilla with cream cheese or processed cheese across its diameter.

Peel the cooled shrimp. Rinse the tomato under water, cut out the green core, and dice the tomato into small cubes.

Place a layer of sliced tomatoes on half of the tortilla; on the tomatoes — shrimp.

Wash the lettuce leaves and pat dry with a paper towel; place them on the tortilla. If desired, you can use arugula, parsley, or cilantro.

Fold the free edge of the tortilla over so the filling is enclosed. Prepare the remaining portions the same way.

Dry-roast the filled tortillas in a dry skillet for about 1 minute.
