
Wheat flour tortilla
Description
Tortilla is commonly used in Mexican cuisine: it is served with sauces or eaten instead of bread. It can be made from wheat or corn flour. It can be eaten right from the pan or after cooling. The flatbreads store well in a plastic bag. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. In a bowl, mix whole grain flour with wheat flour, add salt and baking powder.

2. Add vegetable oil to a glass of warm water and pour it into the flour mixture, mix well.

3. Knead the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

4. Divide the dough into 12 parts.

5. Roll each piece of dough into a ball and let it rest for another 10 minutes.

6. Roll out each ball thinly with a rolling pin and trim the edges.

7. Heat a frying pan and place the pancake on it, fry on both sides until bubbles appear.

8. Transfer the cooked flatbreads to a container or a bag and store in the refrigerator for about 10 days.
