Description
The pastry is easy and quick to prepare. You can use only wheat flour, or replace part of it with whole grain flour. Use rendered pork fat, rub it into the flour mixture, and add water. Divide the finished dough into 8–12 portions, depending on the size. You can eat the flatbreads right away or store them in the refrigerator. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.

1. Place all the flour in a bowl, add the pork fat, and rub with your hands until it forms crumbs. Dissolve the salt in a glass of warm water.

2. Pour water into the flour mixture and mix. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface.

3. Knead the dough until a ball forms.

4. Divide the dough into 8-12 parts.

5. Roll each part into a ball and let it sit for half an hour.

6. Roll out the rested dough into a thin circle.

7. Heat a dry skillet over medium heat and place the flatbread on it. Cook for about 30 seconds on each side.

8. Transfer the pancake to a plate and fry the rest, covering the pancakes with a towel or placing them in a container. Store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
