Cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The sour cream cream used to soak the cake layers makes it tender and delicious. You can serve it as a loaf cake, or soak it with cream or syrup, jam or preserves. Each time you'll get a different variation of cake. For now, I suggest you find out. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

1. First of all, let's prepare the dough for our cake. Gather the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

2. Rub the softened butter with sugar. Beat the eggs separately, then add them to the butter mixture. Add sour cream to the mixture and stir. Combine the sifted flour with baking powder and add it to the liquid mixture. Knead the dough. It should turn out not too thick.
- 3
Step 3

3. Prepare two small bowls and divide the dough into two parts. Add cocoa to one part and mix thoroughly until there are no traces of dry cocoa or lumps.
- 4
Step 4

4. Prepare a baking pan and grease it with oil. You will need a tablespoon. Pour 1-2 tablespoons of dark batter into the center of the pan. Then pour 1-2 tablespoons of light batter directly on top. In this way, fill the pan with half of the batter, as this amount should yield two cake layers. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the layers one at a time (about 25-30 minutes).

Step 5

5. While the cake layers are baking, prepare the cream. For this, beat the sour cream with sugar and vanilla using a mixer.
- 6
Step 6

6. Cool the baked layers on a wire rack. Place one layer on a serving plate, generously spread it with cream, then top with the second layer.
- 7
Step 7

7. We need to prepare the icing. Do not make it in advance, so it doesn't harden in the container. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add milk, cocoa, and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook until the icing begins to thicken. Pour the icing over the cooled cake.

Step 8

8. You can decorate the top to your liking. Cover the cake with strips of foil.
- 9
Step 9

9. Now sprinkle it with powdered sugar.

Step 10
