Cake
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. 1. The recipe for the "Vector" cake begins with baking a sponge cake. To do this, carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks. 2. Add about 50 grams of sugar to the egg whites and start whisking. When the mixture becomes uniform and starts thickening, add the remaining sugar and continue whisking until you get a firm foam. 3. Lightly beat the yolks in a separate bowl and add 1-2 tablespoons of the whipped whites. Gently mix. 4. Add the previously sifted flour to the beaten yolks and stir carefully to avoid lumps, keeping the mixture quite fluffy. 5. Set aside a small portion of the batter (about 1/4) into a separate container and add a bit of the whipped whites. Pour the batter into a baking pan and place it into a preheated oven. Bake the sponge cake for about 20 minutes. Note that the sponge cake should be very thin. 6. Add sifted cocoa powder and the remaining egg whites to the remaining batter. Carefully mix everything and pour into a heatproof baking dish. Bake the chocolate sponge cake for about 35 minutes. Let both cakes cool completely after baking. 7. Once both layers have cooled, you can assemble the "Vector" cake at home. Place the sponge cake at the bottom of a springform pan and moisten it with syrup (a mixture of sugar or honey with water). Then place the chocolate sponge cake on top. 8. Dissolve gelatin according to package instructions and add it to the yogurt. Mix thoroughly until smooth and uniform. 9. Pour the yogurt mixture into the pan and refrigerate the cake for at least 3 hours. 10. Decorate the top with fresh berries or fruits, citrus slices, or chocolate-covered nuts (dark, milk, or white chocolate). The baked dessert is ready. Serve at the table.
