Description

Homemade baked goods for tea. Of all the cakes that are easy to make at home, Tres Leches cake is my favorite. It’s no trouble to prepare at all, yet like all other French cakes, it turns out very tasty, tender, and appetizing. Unfortunately, the cake is high in calories, and it’s practically impossible to turn down two or three extra slices, so keep in mind—Tres Leches cake is very dangerous and treacherous :) Good luck with your baking! :) Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Separate the egg whites from the yolks and pour the whites into a bowl.

    Whip until soft peaks form.

    Add the egg yolks and whisk lightly until foamy.

    While beating slowly, gradually add the sugar to the mixture. Set aside some sugar for the cream.

    The mixture should thicken slightly.

    Pour melted butter over the mixture. Set aside a little butter for greasing the pan.

    Continuing to stir, add the flour in small portions to the mixture, along with the salt and baking soda. Pour the resulting batter into a baking dish greased with butter and bake in an oven preheated to 170°C for 25–30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, in a separate container, whisk all three types of milk with a whisk.

    Remove the finished cake from the oven and pierce the entire surface with a fork.

    Slowly and evenly pour milk over the cake.

    Gradually, the cake will begin to absorb the liquid. Place the cooled cake in the refrigerator overnight.

    When you are ready to serve the cake, prepare the cream. To do this, whip the heavy cream with sugar until you reach the desired consistency.

    Wash the strawberries and cut them into small pieces.
