Cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To evenly coat the "Pinecone" cake with nuts, divide them into three slightly unequal parts, as each layer will be higher and will require a bit more nuts. Prepare the "Pinecone" cake using cellophane pastry gloves, since the cake isn't baked and bacteria might remain under your fingernails. An advantage of the "Pinecone" cake is that there's no need to bake layers, so teenagers can easily make it. I print out the instructions and let them do it however they like—it will taste delicious anyway. I just supervise the stages involving the mixer; caution never hurts! Good luck, and serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
