Cake
Description
The baking process is simple and quick. The dough for the "Šakotis" cake is made with a large number of eggs. It is liquid, yellow, and delicious. We used to make the "Šakotis" cake in the confectionery department of a bakery in Lithuania. We had a separate room where a rotisserie was installed, and the pastry chef would periodically pour the batter, which would beautifully drip and solidify from the heat of the oven. Making "Šakotis" cake at home is practically impossible, although there's really no great need for it. "Šakotis" is always available in any grocery store in Lithuania. Come and buy it! In the past, a bottle of champagne for newlyweds was placed into the hole in the cake. Good luck, and the baking is ready. Serve it at the table.
