Cake
Description
The baking is simple and quick. The cake is based on biscuit layers, which can be store-bought or homemade. From them, cut out the necessary airplane-shaped figures. This cake is perfect for a birthday or for February 23rd. It's not only a delicious dessert but also a great gift. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. I beat the eggs with 300 grams of sugar until fluffy, add baking powder and previously sifted flour. I divide the ready biscuit dough into 2 parts, pour each part onto a baking sheet, and bake one after another at 180 degrees for about 20-30 minutes.

2. I make the necessary airplane parts from cardboard or paper, place each one onto the biscuit layers, and carefully cut them out along the shape.

Step 3

3. In a saucepan, heat the jam with a small amount of water, then immediately use it to soak all the airplane parts.

Step 4

4. For the cream, pour chilled heavy cream (at least 35% fat content) into a bowl, add powdered sugar, and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix gelatin with a small amount of water, stir until dissolved, then pour it into the whipped cream. Add cottage cheese and mix thoroughly. Assemble the airplane parts, spreading the prepared cream between them.

Step 5

5. Using ready-made fondant, knead it with my hands, roll it out thinly, carefully cover the cake, and trim off the excess pieces.

Step 6

6. I beat the chilled egg whites with 50 grams of granulated sugar until they form a white, fluffy mass, then transfer the mixture into a piping bag (or a plastic bag with a small hole cut in the corner) and pipe on the decorations. I let the finished cake sit for several hours—then it's ready to taste.
