Cake in a multicooker
Description
The baking is simple and quick. The "Ryzhik" cake in a multicooker can be decorated with grated chocolate, chopped nuts, soft berries or fruits (fresh, canned, or frozen) to your taste, covered with jelly or in any other way according to your imagination. If you use frozen berries or fruits, defrost them first and make sure to drain all the liquid, the same applies when using canned berries or fruits. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Place honey and baking soda into an enameled saucepan. Heat over low flame, stirring constantly, until the mixture increases in volume and turns dark golden in color.
- 2
Step 2

2. Using a mixer, beat the eggs with sugar until a thick and very fluffy mixture forms, leaving traces from the spoon.
- 3
Step 3

3. Gradually pour the honey and baking soda mixture into the beaten eggs, constantly stirring with a spoon to prevent the eggs from curdling.
- 4
Step 4

4. Add the sifted flour to the mixture in small portions, constantly stirring from the top down with a spoon (never stir in a circular motion, otherwise the dough will settle).
- 5
Step 5

5. Carefully and slowly pour the prepared batter into the buttered bowl of the multicooker. Bake using the "Baking" program for 65 minutes. After this program ends, without opening the lid, set the "Warming" program for 10 minutes.

Step 6

6. Remove the ready cake from the bowl (if necessary, run a silicone or thin wooden spatula around the edge between the cake and the bowl), and let it stand for several hours to cool completely.
- 7
Step 7

7. Cut the cooled cake horizontally into 3-4 layers. If you waited until it cooled completely, the cake will slice easily and without crumbling.
- 8
Step 8

8. Spread the cake layers with the previously prepared custard cream (you can use any cream recipe you like; you will need 600-800 ml), stack them on top of each other, and decorate as desired. My cake is sprinkled with grated chocolate. Place the cake in the refrigerator for several hours to allow it to soak.
