Rainbow Clown Cake
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease a round baking pan and dust it with flour. Beat egg whites with an electric mixer until foamy, about 1 minute. Add cake mix, water, and canola oil; continue beating for 2 minutes at medium speed. Divide the batter into six separate portions. Using a toothpick, add a bit of food coloring to one portion of the batter and mix well. Color each portion with different food coloring in the same way. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, alternating colors. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean, about 30–35 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.
