
Cake with condensed milk
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. I suggest you try this great recipe. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. First, turn on the oven and let it preheat to 180 degrees. Carefully separate the yolks from the whites and beat the yolks with half of the sugar until pale.

2. Separately beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Then add the remaining sugar and continue beating.

3. In a small bowl, combine flour and cocoa. Mix well. Gently combine the egg whites with the yolks, mix, then sift in the dry ingredients.

4. Add the melted butter and gently stir once more. Pour the batter into a heatproof baking dish lined with parchment paper and greased with butter, then place it in the oven.

5. Bake the cake until a toothpick comes out dry (about half an hour, but the time depends on the size of the pan). Then cool thoroughly on a wire rack.

6. Carefully cut the cake into 3 parts with a sharp knife.

7. To prepare the cream, in a small saucepan beat the egg yolk with water and condensed milk. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, but do not bring to a boil. Separately, beat the softened butter until creamy. Add the condensed milk and cocoa, and beat again. Assemble the cake, spreading the cream between the layers.

8. For the glaze, heat the cream and melt the chocolate and butter in it. Brush the top of the cake with apricot jam and pour the chocolate glaze over it. Optionally, sprinkle with cocoa powder or grated chocolate.

9. Here's the beauty. Leave the cake overnight so it soaks through properly.
