Homemade treats for tea. The Easter bunny is just as essential an attribute of Easter in the West as Easter bread and church bells are in Russia. Millions of children eagerly await the magical creature hiding colored eggs. Today, I invite you to delight your kids by gifting them an Easter bunny, using one of the simplest recipes for this dessert—the "Easter Bunny Cake"! Your children will be thrilled, especially since you can decorate it however you like—long live imagination! :) Let's get cooking! Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First of all, separate the yolks from the whites.
- 2
Step 2

On the lowest speed, start beating the egg whites, gradually adding the sugar mixed with vanilla (200 grams).
- 3
Step 3

When the egg white mixture becomes thick and turns snow-white, add the yolks to it while continuing to beat. The mixture should become completely smooth, then add the sifted flour and gently fold it in with a spoon from the bottom up. Pour the batter into a round, springform pan greased with butter, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20–25 minutes.

Step 4

We remove the finished biscuit from the mold. Let it cool and cut it horizontally into two layers. We leave one layer round, and from the second one, we cut off the "ears" as shown in the photo. The remaining part will be our bow.
- 5
Step 5

Place the rabbit onto a tray, with ears on top and a bow at the bottom. Prepare the spreading cream: whip sour cream with 200 grams of sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 6

Draw eyes, mouth, and big whiskers for our bunny using candies, coconut flakes, sprinkles, etc., as you wish :) And voila, our Easter bunny is ready! :)
