
Condensed Milk Cake
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. The “Pancho” cake is easy to make. Of course it still needs time and effort, which will be more than paid back by the appreciation of your family and guests. A soft, moist, moderately sweet cake with a tart note of cherry is usually a hit with everyone. Add confectioners’ sugar to the cream to taste. From the ingredients listed you get a cake that will serve a large group of 12–14 people.

Prepare the ingredients for making the “Pancho” cake.

Crack the eggs into a bowl.

Add the sugar and mix with the eggs.

Pour in the condensed milk.

Spread the sour cream.

Pour refined sunflower oil into the batter.

Add the baking powder and flour.

Divide the dough into two parts. Place one part in a baking dish.

Bake the light cake layer in an oven preheated to 175–180 degrees for 25–30 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer; when inserted into the cake layer, it should come out dry.

Add cocoa powder to the second half of the batter and stir.

Place the brown dough into the mold.

Bake the brown cake layer in the oven at 175–180 degrees for 25–30 minutes.

Cool the light sponge cake and cut a circle out of it. Cut the remaining part into random cubes, but not too large.

Assemble the cake. Mix 600 grams of sour cream with powdered sugar. Line a deep bowl with plastic wrap so that the edges hang over. Place two to three spoonfuls of sour cream frosting at the bottom of the mold.

Then add a few light and brown cubes and the cherries.

Alternating the cream, cake cubes, and cherries, fill the bowl completely to the very top.

Cover the top with the light-colored cake layer that you cut out beforehand. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 5–6 hours, or better yet, overnight.

After that, take the cake out of the refrigerator, invert it onto a serving plate, and remove the plastic wrap.

Mix 200 grams of sour cream with powdered sugar and spread it over the cake. Then drizzle with melted chocolate.
