Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. There are many versions of this recipe online. I settled on probably one of the simplest ones. Now I'll tell you. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Make the cream. Beat the egg yolks with a cup of sugar.

Bring 1750 ml of milk to a boil in a saucepan.

In a bowl, mix 1 cup of milk with two tablespoons of flour and the yolk mixture.

Gently pour the mixture from step three into the boiling milk. Stir the mixture over low heat for a couple of minutes until a custard forms.

Let the finished cream cool, sprinkling it with vanilla sugar on top.

To make the dough, slightly warm the remaining milk. Add a pinch of sugar and salt to it. Stir to mix.

Add the flour with the remaining sugar and knead the dough.

Roll the dough into a log and divide it into 22 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.

Roll out thin sheets of dough in A4 format. Prick them with a fork to prevent bubbles from forming during cooking.

Bake the pancakes on a dry skillet on both sides very quickly until golden brown.

Mix the softened butter into the cooled cream with a spatula.
